So… we’re getting
married (!!!)

And we’re doing it in Stockholm, in August, with a boat and a party and all the love we can fit into one day. It wouldn’t be the same without you – so please, say you’ll come*

*by June 9th

The Plan

The Tram – Norrmalmstorg, 14:00

Our journey begins at Norrmalmstorg in central Stockholm where a classic tram awaits to take you to the ceremony (as our venue doesn’t allow access for cars). The Tram leaves at 14:10 sharp, so make sure to be there for 14:00. Drinks and tunes onboard.

The Ceremony – Waldemarsudde, 15:00

We’ll arrive at beautiful Prince Euegens Waldemarsudde, Djurgården, where the ceremony will be held just a short walk away.

9th August

The Boat – Waldemarsudde, 16:30

After the vows, we’ll travel along Stockholm’s waterways to Konditori Lyran – a scenic transfer if there ever was one. There will be drinks, snacks and music onboard.

The Reception – Konditori Lyran, 17:45

Once we arrive at Konditori Lyran the true party begins. There will be dinner, speeches and dancing until late.

If you’re in town the evening before the wedding we’d love to meetup for casual drinks in the (hopefully) sunny Swedish evening – full plans to be announced closer to the big day.

And if you’re hanging around for an extra day, we’d love to go swimming or have a fika!

8th & 10th August

The Dress Code

The dress code is cocktail.

We’re thinking effortlessly elegant, playful, sexy… more Cannes Film Festival after dark, less corporate conference; more Luca Guadagnino, less LinkedIn; more bond, less boardroom; more… ok, you get the point.

A refined dark suite or elevated dress. Open collar or tie. Slits. Polished shoes. Sunglasses, if the weather calls for it.

Avoid loud patterns, sneakers and novelty socks.

Here’s some inspiration!

Any Other Questions?

What time should I arrive?

The Tram from Norrmalmstorg leaves at 14:10, so make sure to be there by 14:00. The ride is short and scenic – you don’t want to miss it!

What if I’m driving?

If driving, park in Central Stockholm and join us on the tram. You could also park at Konditori Lyran and travel back into town (for an easy getaway later on).

Will there be transportation provided?

To The Ceremony and from there to The Reception , yes. The rest is up to you (the underground runs through the night and there’s plenty of taxi options).

Are kids invited?

We love them, but this one’s adults-only.

What’s the toilet situation?

There are toilets at Prince Eugens Waldemarsudde, on the Boat and at Konditori Lyran, not on the Tram – so plan accordingly.

Can I take pictures?

Yes, the more the merrier! Just be mindful during the ceremony.

Can I give a speech or perform?

Absolutely. Talk to our toastmasters Ebba & Viktor! You can drop them an email at: hedvigalexander25@gmail.com

Do you have a gift registry?

Your presence is gift enough, but you’re of course more than welcome to contribute to our honeymoon fund (Mexico, here we come!).

Who do I contact if I have any other questions?

Reach out to our toasties Ebba & Viktor at: hedvigalexander25@gmail.com

The Travel Guide

Where to Stay?

We’re staying at Berns Hotel in central Stockholm. If you book through this link you’ll get 10% off your stay.

Other good options:

🏨 Villa Dahlia – stylish and central

🏨 Hotel Ruth – a bit more relaxed

🏨 Hotel Frantz – if you want to stay in the hip part of town

🏨 Hotel Zinkensdamm – if you want to spend less money on accommodation

Stockholm is full of great places to stay. You can’t go wrong.

What to Do (other than partying)?

If you’re making a weekend of it, here are some ideas:

🇸🇪 The touristy stuff – Gamla Stan, The Castle, Gröna Lund, Abba Museum, Aifur, meatballs… you can’t go wrong.

🇸🇪 The nature-y bits – boat trip to the archipelago, sauna at Hellasgården, wild swimming.

🇸🇪 Artsy Fartsy – Moderna Museet & ArkDes, Fotografiska, Artipelag, Konst-ig
